Newly open for 2013 biker friendly accommodation in the heart of Chabris, Indre, Central France.

Ideally situated in the centre of France as a stop off en route north or south. 25 minutes from the A20 autoroute. 10 minutes from A85 autoroute.
Martin and Rose look forward to welcoming you to this largely undiscovered corner of France. Having lived in the region since 1999 and a keen rider, Martin can advise on the best roads and places to visit in the area. Road books are available. Having spent many years touring Europe on bikes they understand the needs of touring riders.
Secure garaged bike parking is available. Use of tools. Bike washing materials. Laundry facilities. Luggage storage area. A large van is available for recovery to Bikers Rest if the unexpected should happen. Open air and covered seating areas available also the use of a barbecue.
Accommodation
The accommodation comprises a self contained appartment that can sleep from 1 to 4 people and has its own well equipped kitchen and shower room. Towels and basic toiletries provided.
The accommodation can be arranged in a number of ways to suit groups from 1 to 4 people.
The Region
Chabris is a thriving market town in the north of the department of Indre (36). The river Cher passes through the town and there are very pleasant walks along the river. There are five restaurants and three cafe/bars within easy walking distance of Bikers Rest. Supermarket 5 minutes away.
Within easy riding distance on well maintained and deserted roads are the Chateaux of Valencay, Cheverny, Chambord and Chenonceaux - all within 45 minutes ride. The motor museums of Matra at Romorantin and the car/motorbike museum at Valencay are both located within 15 minutes. The beautiful and almost unknown chateau at Bouges le Chateau is 25 minutes away and well worth a visit.
The world renowned Zooparc de Beauval at Saint Aignan is 30 minutes ride along the banks of the river Cher.
PRICES
20 Euros per person per night including continental breakfast.
A full English breakfast is available for 5 euros per person
Evening meals available by arrangement 15 euros per person including wine, beer or cider.
If you are looking for 5 star accommodation with swimming pool, jaccuzzi and boutique hotel interiors then we are probably not for you. If you are looking for fantastic value accommodation and a relaxed stay in a friendly town then we might be just what you`re looking for.
